The International Design Awards (IDA) 2026 is an international competition that recognizes outstanding and emerging talent across a wide range of design fields, including architecture, interior design, product design, graphic design, and fashion design.
The awards aim to highlight innovative work and give designers the opportunity to gain international recognition and exposure.
Participants may submit completed projects, works in progress, or conceptual designs, depending on the selected category. The submitted work must have been completed within the past 5 years at the time of application.

Winning projects are published and promoted through the award’s official channels.

The People’s Choice winner in each discipline within the non-professional category receives EUR 1,000.
Eligibility criteria
Open to individuals from all countries worldwide.
Applicants must be 18 years old or above.
Separate categories are available for professionals and students.
An applicant is considered a professional if design is or has been their primary source of income.
Any student may apply under the student category, whether studying full-time or part-time, and their academic major does not need to be design-related.
Participants may submit more than one project or enter multiple categories.
The submitted project must have been completed within the past 5 years.
