Ignite 2026 Pre-Incubator for Entrepreneurs in Barranquilla Colombia

Five One Labs invites entrepreneurs to apply for the Ignite pre-incubator program in Barranquilla, Colombia, for people seeking to grow a business through new products or entry into new markets. Selection is ongoing for three cohorts in 2026, and the announcement does not specify a final application date.

About the Ignite Startup Pre-Incubator

Ignite combines in-person sessions in Barranquilla with practical work applied directly to each participant’s business. The approach is based on learning by doing and making decisions informed by real evidence from the business. Participants work to understand how innovation can increase sales, develop a feasibility study and prepare an effective pitch for their business. The program also connects participants with a community focused on growth and collaboration.

The call is aimed at entrepreneurs with a strong idea for growing their business through the development of new products or services, or by reaching new markets and customers in different ways. Applications are assessed on the level of innovation in the proposal and its potential to produce real business growth, increase revenue, reach more customers or expand the business’s reach. Reviewers also consider how clearly the entrepreneur has identified the problem to solve or the opportunity to pursue, and whether the proposal responds to a genuine market or business need.

The selection process has three stages. First, the Five One Labs team reviews the answers submitted through the application form. Entrepreneurs whose applications are shortlisted are then invited to an in-person interview at the Five One Labs office to discuss their innovative idea in more depth. Finally, selected participants are notified by email and receive further details about beginning their participation. Three Ignite cohorts are planned for 2026, so selection remains active on an ongoing basis.

Who Should Apply

The program is intended for entrepreneurs who have an idea that can help their business grow and who are prepared to put it into practice. The selection criteria favor people with leadership and execution skills who welcome feedback and are willing to question their current business model. Applicants should be committed, disciplined, adaptable and focused on achieving results and business growth. Only one entrepreneur may participate from each business. Applicants who took part in Ignite, Incubación or FEM programs between 2023 and 2025 are not eligible for this call.
