Young Art Foundations invites artists and curators all over the world to participate in the Moscow International Biennale for Young Art in Russia. The Moscow International Biennale for Young Art is a large-scale project in the field of contemporary art held in Russia since 2008.
About Moscow International Biennale:-
- Moscow International Biennale seeks to discover new names, support and stimulate creative initiatives of the new generation of artists and curators, create a stage for their public statements and as a result develop the environment for Russian contemporary art and enhance its integration into international context.
- The Moscow International Biennale for Young Art is organized by one of its founder- the Moscow Museum of Modern Arts- and is initiated by the Moscow Department of Culture.
- Developing rapidly, the project looks for new ways to support young art, inviting cultural institutions, which act in tune with the biennale’s mission.
- The 8th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art consists of the following:
- Main Project.
- Special Projects.
- Educational Programs.
- Parallel Program.
- Portfolio Review Programs aimed at supporting young artists.
- This year the main project will present a curatorial project selected through the open-call.

Eligibility criteria
- You must be aged 18 to 35 years. Place of birth and actual residence do not matter.
- Artists included in a curatorial project must be from 18 to 35 years old.
- When submitting an application, Participants confirm their exclusive rights (artists – to artworks, videos, etc., curators – to concepts and texts).
- The Participant/Participants can submit one or several applications (up to three).
- The concept set out in the application, submitted by the Participant, must be new, created specially for the 8th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, and never exhibited anywhere else.
- Artists’ works included into a curatorial project must also be new and created specially for the Biennale.
- The selection of curatorial projects for the Main Project is carried out by an approved Expert Board of 9 people.
- By submitting an application, Participants confirm their consent to the collecting and processing of personal data.
- Personal data, images, videos, texts and other materials, attached to the application by the Participant, can be published on the website, as well as used for promotional or informational purposes on the Internet or other channels without the need to obtain the permission of the parties.
