Opportunity description
PyraMax Film Awards invites independent filmmakers from around the world to participate in its 2026 edition, an international online film competition designed to discover and support emerging filmmaking talent and provide participants with opportunities for professional recognition and wider exposure.
The competition accepts narrative-based film projects in a wide range of formats, including feature films, documentaries, animation, experimental films, music videos, and films produced using artificial intelligence technologies. Submissions are evaluated by a judging panel that includes academics, producers, and film industry professionals.

Eligibility criteria
The competition is open to filmmakers from around the world.
Feature films, documentaries, animated films, and other narrative-based cinematic works are accepted.
Applicants may submit more than one film.
The same film may be entered into multiple categories.
The film must have been produced in 2022 or later.
Video quality must be at least 720p HD.
Films not in English must include appropriate subtitles or captions.
Applicants must hold all necessary rights related to the film and submitted materials.
Submission fees are non-refundable.
