Opportunity description
The International Computer Science Competition (ICSC) 2026 invites students from around the world to take part in a global computer science challenge that combines learning with friendly competition. The competition aims to develop students’ skills in logical thinking, problem-solving, algorithms, and programming through three stages: the Qualification Round, the Pre-Final Round, and the Final Round. It is suitable for students interested in programming, artificial intelligence, algorithms, computer science, and technology.
Competition Location:
The competition is held entirely online, allowing students to participate from any country and from home.
Qualification Round: Participants solve 5 problems and submit their solutions through the official online application form.
Pre-Final Round: Qualified students take a 60-minute online test.
Final Round: Participants take a 30-minute online test from home, with an electronic monitoring system.

Eligibility criteria
Students from all over the world can apply to participate in the competition, provided that they fall within one of the age or academic categories specified by the competition:
- Category 1: Junior
This category is intended for younger students and includes:
Students in Grade 10 or below.
Students under the age of 16.
- Category 2: Youth
This category is intended for students in upper secondary school or its equivalent and includes:
Students in Grades 11 to 13.
Students who have not yet started university studies.
- Category 3: Senior
This category is intended for older students or university students and includes:
First-year university students and above.
Students who are 19 years old or older.
General Participation Requirements
- Applicants should be students or individuals interested in participating in the category that matches their age or academic level.
- Applicants should have an interest in computer science, programming, algorithms, or problem-solving.
- Applicants should be able to understand the questions and solve them independently.
- Applicants must have an internet connection and a computer to participate, as the competition is held entirely online.
- The competition does not require a specific nationality, as students from all countries can apply.
