CEWE has opened entries for the seventh edition of the CEWE Photo Award 2027 under the theme “Our world is beautiful”, an international photography competition inviting photographers from around the world to share their personal vision of the beauty of the world through photography.
The competition welcomes entries from both amateur and professional photographers and covers a wide range of photographic genres, from nature, travel, and people to architecture, street photography, sports, and abstract photography.
An international expert jury will select the best images, with a total prize value of approximately €250,000 distributed across 1,000 prizes.

- Close-Up & Macro Photography
- Landscapes
- People
- Nature & Wildlife
- Travel & Culture
- Sport & Action

Eligibility criteria
You can apply to the CEWE Photo Award 2027 if you meet the following requirements:
- The competition is open to photographers from around the world.
- Both professional and amateur photographers may participate.
- Submitted images must be taken by the participant, who must also hold the necessary rights to use them.
- Images must be submitted under one of the official competition categories.
- Participants may submit multiple images and enter more than one category, in accordance with the competition rules.
- Entries must be genuine photographic works; submissions created entirely using AI-generated imagery are not accepted.
- Participants must respect the rights of people appearing in the images, intellectual property rights, and any other rights associated with photographed locations or subjects.
- The competition also includes a dedicated Young Talent Award category.
