International Short Film Contest from the accordi @ DISACCORDI International Short Film Festival

The accordi @ DISACCORDI International Short Film Festival invites all creative filmmakers all over the world to participate with their films and compete within the festival. The Festival celebrates its 18th anniversary on November 09 - 13, 2021 and welcomes films and filmmakers from all over the world, to share the art of independent short films with the local audience, to entertain and enlighten festival attendees and provide filmmakers the opportunity for professional networking and development.

About the Festival:-

The accordi @ DISACCORDI Short Film Festival (Consonances and Dissonances) is an audience-friendly festival that focuses on quality programming of all genres. The Organizing Committee of the festival wants to give a heightened sense of the experience to all who participate and attend.

• Awards will be given for the winners in the following categories:
• Best short film. 
• Best short film by a director of Campania Region. 
• Best international short film. 
• Best documentary short film. 
• Best animated short film. 
• Best environmental short film. 
• Best director. 
• Best actor. 
• Best actress. 
• Audience award. 
• Equal first and honorable mentions are also possible.
• The winners will receive an acrylic or wooden plaque.

• The theme of the exhibition is: consonances and dissonances in our times.
• The festival is open to international filmmakers over 18 years.
• Short films have been produced after January 1, 2018.
• Festival is open to short films (fiction, animation, backstage/making of, music videos) and documentaries; short movies with a maximum duration of 25 minutes (titles included), documentaries should run for no more than 35 minutes.
• Entries must be submitted in Italian or subtitled in Italian (.srt file).
• All artists working are welcome to submit up to three works for jury consideration.
• There is no entry fee for the International Short Film Competition.
• The short movies, documentaries, and animated short movies are selected at the incontestable discretion of the artistic direction of the festival.
• The winners will be chosen by a jury of entertainment industry professionals and announced on the winner’s day. The jury’s choice is final.
• The audience of the Festival will vote for their favorite short film.
• The participants authorize the use of a fragment of his work up to 50 seconds or to 10% full, for possible broadcast and promotion.
• The organization assumes that participants have the right to exhibit and promote the works and material presented and disclaims any responsibility for the violation of these rules.
• The organizing committee reserves the right to screen the submitted works. Those selected for screening during “accordi @ DISACCORDI” will be notified at least three weeks before the event starts by email (by October 19, 2021).
