Scholarships for the Excellent International Students at the Silesian University of Technology in Poland

The Silesian University of Technology offers a number of scholarships for its best first-semester international students of the first or second cycle in a full course of study within the Excellence Initiative- Research University program.

If you get this scholarship, you will have:

• An award of PLN 21,000 (Appro. 4437,99 USD)gross.

Please note: The scholarship shall be paid in three equal installments, whereby the first installment shall be transferred within three months after the commencement of the education.

You should follow the following criteria:

• Scholarship for the best international students of the Silesian University of Technology commencing their full-time studies of the first or second cycle in a full course of study.
• This scholarship is available to students at the first or second cycle of studies, i.e. to bachelor or master.
• In the case of the 1st -cycle students:
• completion of a secondary school with a final grade placing you among the best 20% of graduates from a given year in classes with similar curricula certified by the school principal.
• In the case of the 2nd -cycle students:
• completion of the 1st cycle studies with the highest grade stipulated in the regulations in force in a given university, certified by the dean or the rector of that university.
• The application and attachments to this application shall be submitted in Polish or English and the standard translation is also accepted.
•  A positive recommendation is based on the place on the ranking list of applicants who obtained at least 50% of the maximum number of points.
