Microsoft Teams App Development Challenge by DevPost with Prizes Pool of $60.000

DevPost is inviting developers to take part in Microsoft Teams App Development Challenge 2022, along with ISVs and organizations to build and publish a new collaborative Teams app, or create a monetized transactable SaaS offer for a Teams app.

Choose from the tracks below for a chance to win from the $60,000 in prizes available! 

Tracks

1. New Teams App: Build a NEW Teams app that uses at least two collaborative features, is Azure Active Directory Single-Sign on enabled AND is published to Microsoft's AppSource. 
2. Subscription Track: Enable a Teams app with monetized subscription capabilities AND is published to Microsoft’s AppSource and Teams Store. (New apps are also welcome in the Subscription Track).

4. Submitters must be part of an organization to participate. Eligible applications must submit for publication to Microsoft’s AppSource app store.   

$60,000 in prizes:

• 1st Place – New App: $15,000 USD / Featured in a Microsoft blog post following winner announcements.
• 2nd Place – New App: $10,000 USD / Featured in a Microsoft blog post following winner announcements.
• 3rd Place – New App: $5,000 USD / Featured in a Microsoft blog post following winner announcements.
• 1st Place – Subscription Offer: $15,000 USD / Featured in a Microsoft blog post following winner announcements.
• 2nd Place – Subscription Offer: $10,000 USD / Featured in a Microsoft blog post following winner announcements.
• 3rd Place – Subscription Offer: $5,000 USD / Featured in a Microsoft blog post following winner announcements.

1. Above legal age of majority in country of residence
2. All countries/territories, excluding Brazil, Quiebic, Cuba, Iran, Syria, Korea, and Crimea.

Requirements:

• Build a new Teams app that is published on Microsoft AppSource
• Must be substantially different from any other app submitted by the same submitter/team/organization
• Must be the original work of the submitter, be solely owned by the submitter, and not violate the IP rights of any other person or entity
• Enable a Teams app with a monetized paid SaaS offer in the Microsoft AppSource and the Teams App Store.

Judging Criteria:

• Quality of the app (Includes creativity and originality of the idea, and ability of app to drive engagement)
• Technical implementation of the idea (Includes how well the idea was executed by the developer)
• Potential business value and impact (Includes the extent to which the solution can help end users and businesses)
