Opportunity description

The United Nations Statistics Division has opened registration for the sixth edition of the United Nations World Data Forum (UNWDF 2026), which will be held in person in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 9 to 12, 2026.

The forum is an international platform that brings together data and statistics experts, policymakers, researchers, academics, and representatives of governments, international organizations, civil society, and the private sector. It aims to promote knowledge exchange, build partnerships, and strengthen the use of data in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

The forum focuses on data innovation, artificial intelligence, official statistics, geospatial data, data governance, capacity-building, and transforming data into more effective development policies and decisions.
