Opportunity description

The University of Tasmania in Australia is offering partially funded undergraduate scholarships for international students who are applying to study at the university for the first time. Selection for this scholarship will be based on academic merit achieved in studies at secondary, diploma and degree level courses. Applications are assessed for all semester intakes and selection for this scholarship will be based on an applicant's highest-level qualification prior to commencing their intended study program (minimum one-year duration). Please also note that qualifications and grading scales can vary significantly from country to country.

Benefits

The Tasmanian International Scholarship provides students with a 25% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of their course (provided satisfactory grades are maintained).

Eligibility criteria

  • The scholarship is available to all international students who apply to study in one of the undergraduate programs at the university except for the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Dementia Care.
  • The selection process is based on the applicant's academic merit at the high school level.
  • Successful applicants will be notified through an offer letter.
