Carnegie Mellon University invites International students from all over the world to master scholarships valued at AUD $30,000. this scholarship gives the opportunity for each student to make a positive change in his/her life and home country. It supports Latin American students to become leaders to catalyze positive change in their respective countries. Moreover, it encourages ambitious African students to be leaders in innovation in the African region. As well as it enables Asian students to lead and contribute to the development of their countries and the Asian region after their studies.
Benefits
If you have been eligible for this Scholarship, you will award one of the following:
- AUD $30,000 for the duration of 21-month master's degrees.
- AUD $20,000 for the duration of 12-month master's degrees.
Eligibility criteria
You should meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of a country in Asia, Latin America, or Africa.
- Students who are citizens or hold permanent residency in Australia or New Zealand are not eligible.
- This scholarship is not applicable in conjunction with any other CMU Australia scholarships or other government scholarships.
- Be accepted into a CMU Australia master coursework degree commencing in August 2021.
- Accept CMU Australia’s offer letter and pay the deposit by the required deadline.
- This scholarship will not be applicable for students who defer the commencement
- Students need to maintain their enrolment throughout their course in full-time study.
- If a student withdraws from the master program before completion, he/she may be required to repay the value of the scholarship awarded.
- Meet the admission requirements for a CMU Australia full-time master coursework degree, 12 month or 21-month tracks which you can know more details from the official website:
- All 12-month tracks require at least 3 years of professional work experience.
- All 21-month tracks do not require professional work experience.
- Submission of scores English language proficiency.
- Submission of a resume (1- 2 pages) summary of your education skills, employment experience, and volunteer experience.
- Submission of an essay (approximately 1,000 words) of your academic and professional background, and career goals.
- All Information Technology programs require programming experience in an object-oriented programming language such as Java or C++.
