Opportunity description
Scout Adventures is accepting applications for its Residential Volunteering Programme, a long-term international volunteering programme in the United Kingdom that gives young people the opportunity to live and work at one of the organization’s outdoor activity centres while helping provide educational and recreational experiences for children and young people.
Volunteers primarily work as Outdoor Activity Instructors, helping deliver a variety of outdoor activities and adventures for young people, while also contributing to some operational tasks within Scout Adventures centres. The programme provides training before and throughout the volunteering period, so applicants are not required to be professional activity instructors before joining.

International volunteers participating in the programme receive a range of benefits, including:
- Free accommodation throughout the volunteering period.
- Free meals every day, including days off.
- A personal allowance of £45 per week.

- Accident insurance while carrying out volunteering duties.
- Regular social activities and events funded by the centre.
- The possibility of receiving a reference letter after successfully completing the programme.
