The Aarhus School of Architecture invites architecture students from all over the world to participate in the “Photo of the Year” competition-themed Architectural Landscapes. The theme of the competition focuses on the connection between architecture and landscape and how it can spark debate through photography about how to plan and build in interaction with nature.

- Third prize: 1,000 euros
Eligibility criteria
- To enter the competition, you need to submit a series of five photos. The photos must relate to the competition theme: Architectural Landscapes.
- Contestants must be enrolled in a school of architecture or have completed an architectural degree in 2021.
- You may also enter if you are enrolled in a Ph.D. program at a school of architecture, are on leave from your architectural studies, or are currently working in an architecture internship.
About Aarhus School of Architecture:
The Aarhus School of Architecture was founded in 1965 in Aarhus, Denmark. Along with the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, the School of Architecture in Copenhagen is responsible for the education of architects in Denmark. The school has a student population of approximately 700 and employs a staff of around 130. Aarhus School of Architecture offers an academic education centered around three approaches to architecture: artistic, scientific, and practice-based. The school provides teaching at Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. levels within architecture and areas related to the architectural profession. It also offers a range of continuing education and specialized courses aimed at qualified architects and designers.
