Scholarship for Refugees in Jordan and Lebanon from the World University Service of Canada (WUSC)

• Registered with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Jordan or Lebanon.
• You are recognized as a refugee and must be residing in Jordan or Lebanon and have arrived there before January 11, 2021.
• You have completed your high school education and have an official, original copy of your diploma.
• You must have obtained a minimum of 65% in your secondary school certificate.
• You are between 18 and 25 years old as of January 1, 2024.
• Your date of birth must be between January 1998 and January 1, 2006.
• You have the ability to undertake academic study in English or French.
• Single (not married) and without children.
• You have the ability to be self-reliant and prepare for resettlement to Canada independently (i.e. not with family members).
• Desire and determination to confront barriers to accessing post-secondary education.
• All refugees of all nationalities registered with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Jordan or Lebanon who meet the admission requirements and conditions can apply for this opportunity.
