Fully Funded Undergraduate Scholarships from the Islamic University of Madinah

The Islamic University is now accepting applications for the international scholarships programs from students outside Saudi Arabia. The scholarships grant students of non-Saudis and residents outside the Kingdom a seat to study in higher education institutions in Saudi Arabia. It is a free seat for students at a bachelor's degree (full-time) provided by the Government of Saudi Arabia for international students, with a number of financial advantages and providing appropriate services to the university environment.

• Monthly stipend.
• Two months allowance for accessories upon arrival.
• One month allowance for extbook annually, provided that its disbursement is limited to the statutory period specified for completing the study without extensions.
• A discounted economy class ticket when traveling at the end of each academic year from the nearest route to student’s residence, provided that the student has not received a travel ticket from another source.
• Three-month graduation allowance for shipping books.

• Students must have a high school certificate or equivalent from or outside the Kingdom.
• The student may apply to study before graduating from secondary level if it remains one year or less to receive a certificate, and the report sheets available at the time should be attached on a condition that the certificate must be attached as soon as it is obtained within a period not exceeding one year.
• It shouldn’t exceed more than 5 years since the student’s obtaining a secondary school certificate (High) or its equivalent.
• The student must not have received another scholarship from one of the educational institutions in the Kingdom.
• The student must not be resident in Saudi Arabia.
• The applicant must be well-mannered.
• The student’s age shouldn’t be less than 17 years and not more than 25 years.
• The applicant must not have been dismissed from another university for disciplinary reasons.
• The certificates and papers must be ratified from the competent authorities in the country of the student.
• Applicants must attach a certificate that their record is free of precedents from the security services in his/her country.
• The student must have received a recommendation letter from one of the institutions or academic personalities in his/her country.
• The applicant must be medically fit.
• The student must pass any exams for the university.
• The applicant must comply with state and university regulations.
• Admission requirements for scientific track faculties:
• To have a high school diploma or its equivalent in a scientific discipline.
• The student must show proficiency in the English language. Students who have a secondary certificate teached in a language other than English are required to attach a certificate with a score not less than 500 in the TOEFL (PBT, CBT, IBT), IELTS or STEP tests.
