Opportunity description

Stars of Science opens applications for its 18th season to young Arabs with innovative ideas in the fields of science, technology, entrepreneurship, and engineering. The program aims to support Arab innovators and help transform their ideas into real projects through a project development and building experience in Qatar, which includes mentorship, operational support, and access to workspaces within an advanced innovation environment. The program is produced by Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), a member of Qatar Foundation.

Responsibilities

  1. Submit an innovative and scalable idea in one of the fields of science, technology, or entrepreneurship.
  2. Clearly explain the idea through the online application form.
  3. Commit to participating in the program stages if selected.
  4. Travel to Doha on the required dates for filming or program stages.
  5. Work on developing the idea or prototype in collaboration with the expert team.
  6. Commit to the initial incubation phase in Doha if selected as a winner.

Eligibility criteria

  • The applicant must be of Arab nationality or of Arab origin.
  • The applicant must be proficient in Arabic, whether Modern Standard Arabic or a spoken dialect.
  • The applicant must be between 18 and 35 years old as of May 5, 2026.
  • The applicant must have a valid passport that does not expire before March 31, 2027.
  • The applicant must be able to travel to Doha, Qatar during August and October 2026 if selected.
  • The winner must be able to relocate to Doha during the initial incubation period.
  • Employees of Qatar Science & Technology Park and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply.
