Startups Grants for University Graduate from Launchpad Studio

Launchpad Grants are now available for applicants all over the world with the ambition, drive, vision, and commitment to solve problems and co-create a lasting, sustainable impact in partnership with Launchpad and its Strategic Partners. With only 80 places available each year, competition to join Launchpad is high. The application process is designed to be challenging as Launchpad only wants to work with the best. If you think you have what it takes to create a high-growth start-up then you’ve come to the right place.

• You need to hold a minimum 3-year undergraduate University degree with a 2.1 classification or higher in a relevant skill set, 3.1 GPA, 60% pass or better. 
• Alternatively, you must have work experience for more than eight years in a commercial environment.
• You must have worked in a start-up or venture capital fund.
• If English is not your first language, then you’ll need to meet Falmouth University’s postgraduate requirements for English Language. Please check them from here.
• Launchpad is looking for those skilled in:
• Business leadership, operations, and/or marketing
• Software development.
• UI/UX and product design.
• Launchpad is about building businesses, so regardless of your specific skill set, you are expected to demonstrate a general understanding of the world of entrepreneurship and business.
• Most of Launchpad’s cohort will have a minimum of five years business experience with evidence of rapid career progression, or experience with start-ups (running their own or working for one) or venture capital.
• Launchpad welcomes diversity in the cohort so applications from all nationalities and backgrounds are considered.

About Launchpad:-

Launchpad is Falmouth University’s venture studio. It is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Research England and Cornwall Council. Launchpad is one of the few university embedded venture studios that provide a free Master of Science degree in combination with the typical venture studio support. Launchpad has a curated set of Strategic Partners made up of venture arms of technology companies and venture capital.
