Opportunity description
The Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF), in partnership with TotalEnergies, offers the TotalEnergies Sustainability Design Award 2026 to support young Emirati designers and architects and encourage innovation in sustainable design and architecture.
The theme of the 2026 edition is “Sustainable Design for Connected Communities”, focusing on how sustainable design can strengthen connections between people, places, and communities while creating environments that are more inclusive, accessible, and resilient.
The award also encourages participants to reimagine shared spaces in ways that promote collaboration, cultural exchange, and community engagement.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must:
- Be UAE nationals.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old if applying as emerging artists or designers.
- Apply either individually or as part of a team.
- For team applications, include at least one Emirati member.
- Have each application supported by a Nominator.
- Submit a project in one of the following fields:
- Building Design.
- Interior Design.
- Landscape Architecture.
- Sustainable Design.
- Address at least one of the three dimensions of sustainability: economic, environmental, or social.
- Submit work that may be a conceptual idea, a project in progress, or a completed project.
