The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has announced an exciting internship opportunity in Doha, Qatar, within the Programme Management and Youth Development Programme. The internship aims to support youth engagement initiatives, skills development, and youth, peace, and security programs, while providing hands-on experience within one of the world’s leading United Nations organizations specializing in children’s rights and community development.
The intern will contribute to coordinating youth activities and events, supporting program reporting and implementation, and collaborating with the Ministry of Sports and Youth and UN partners in Qatar within a multicultural international environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of youth programs and initiatives in collaboration with local partners.
- Assist in coordinating activities, meetings, and events.
- Follow up on work plans and programs related to youth, peace, and security.
- Prepare meeting minutes and periodic reports.
- Contribute to monitoring program and activity outcomes.
- Support the development of partnerships and youth initiatives.

Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must be university students or recent graduates within the last two years.
- Preferred fields of study include Education, Economics, Social Sciences, or any related field.
- Applicants must be 18 years old or above.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
- Interest in youth and adolescent programs.
- The internship is open to Qatari nationals only.
