Opportunity description
The University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada is accepting applications for the International Scholars Program 2027, which provides scholarships for academically outstanding international students who wish to begin their undergraduate studies in September 2027.
The program is designed for students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, strong leadership abilities, and meaningful contributions to their communities, but who face financial challenges that may prevent them from covering the cost of university study in Canada.
The value of the scholarship is determined based on an assessment of the actual financial needs of the student and their family. It may provide significant support toward tuition and living expenses, in addition to opportunities for personal and professional development and academic guidance.
International students from Arab countries may apply, provided they meet the university’s admission requirements, demonstrate financial need, receive a nomination from an eligible nominating organization, and obtain a recommendation from a teacher.
Benefits
Receive financial support based on the demonstrated financial need of the student and their family.
Possibility of having undergraduate tuition fees covered within the approved scholarship amount.
Potential support for living expenses in Canada, depending on the financial assessment.
