Join a unique volunteer program in the Amazon Rainforest of Ecuador, where you will help rescue and rehabilitate wildlife affected by illegal trafficking, injuries, or habitat loss. Volunteers participate in animal care, food preparation, facility cleaning, and rehabilitation activities at a specialized rescue center that houses monkeys, parrots, turtles, mammals, and reptiles. Duties & responsibilities

  • Prepare food and feed the animals on a daily basis.
  • Clean cages, enclosures, and rehabilitation areas.

  • Support basic maintenance and construction tasks within the rescue center.
  • Contribute to wildlife conservation initiatives and environmental awareness programs.

Eligibility criteria

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Strong interest in animals, wildlife conservation, and environmental protection.
  • Ability to perform field-based and physically demanding daily tasks.
  • Willingness to live and work in a tropical rainforest environment.
  • No previous experience in animal care is required.
  • A basic level of English or Spanish is preferred.
