ALDA

The ALDA (European Association for Local Democracy) is an international non-governmental organization founded in 1999, dedicated to promoting democracy and civic participation at the local level. The organization works to build cooperation between local governments and civil society organizations, supporting initiatives that advance human rights, good governance, and community engagement. It also implements projects and training programs in more than 40 countries, with a strong focus on empowering youth and enhancing their role in decision-making and building more inclusive and sustainable communities.
