Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) is one of China’s leading public universities, located in the capital city of Beijing. Founded in 1940, BIT is well known for its academic and research strengths in engineering, technology, science, and innovation. The university is also included in major Chinese higher education initiatives such as Project 211, Project 985, and the Double First-Class initiative.
