Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)

Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is one of Malaysia’s leading public universities. It was established in 1969 as the country’s second university and was originally known as Universiti Pulau Pinang before adopting its current name. The university’s main campus is located on Penang Island, near George Town. USM offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs across a wide range of fields, including Natural and Applied Sciences, Medicine and Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering and Technology, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Education. The university also hosts a number of specialized research centers in areas such as medicine and molecular sciences, technology, archaeology, public policy, and international studies.
