World Federation of Science Journalists – WFSJ

The World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) is an international, non-profit, non-governmental organization that brings together around 70 associations of science journalists, representing up to 10,000 journalists specializing in science and technology from around the world. It was founded in 2002 and is registered as a charitable organization in Canada. WFSJ aims to strengthen and advance science journalism worldwide through training, mentorship, knowledge exchange, support for the free flow of scientific information, and the promotion of professional best practices in covering science and technology. It also organizes the World Conference of Science Journalists (WCSJ) on a recurring basis in different regions of the world.
