GEMS Founders School – Dubai is offering a job opportunity for a Psychology Teacher to join the school team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with the option to start immediately or in January 2027.

Duties & responsibilities
Teach Psychology and deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences for students.
Teach or support GCSE and A-Level courses in line with curriculum and examination requirements.
Plan and deliver lessons that address different student ability levels.
Use effective methods of teaching, assessment, and differentiation.
Monitor student progress and encourage learners to achieve their full potential.
Create an inclusive, motivating, and appropriately challenging learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, students, and members of the wider school community.
Contribute to the development of teaching practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
Comply with school policies related to child safeguarding and student wellbeing.
Eligibility criteria
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field.
Hold a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Both newly qualified and experienced teachers are eligible to apply.
Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching Psychology and motivating students.
Have experience or knowledge of teaching GCSE and/or A-Level, including relevant curriculum and examination requirements.
Have strong knowledge of teaching, assessment, and differentiation strategies.
Be able to create an inclusive and interactive learning environment.
Have excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Be able to work positively with colleagues, students, and the wider school community.
Successfully complete pre-employment checks, including verification of identity, qualifications, employment history, professional references, and criminal record.
