Deloitte is offering a leadership opportunity for the position of Manager – Senior Manager | AI & Data in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, or Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, leading the design and delivery of advanced Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions for clients across both the public and private sectors.
The role combines technical expertise, leadership, and consulting, with responsibility for the full lifecycle of AI projects, from understanding the business problem and designing the solution architecture to developing models and products, deploying them into production environments, monitoring performance, and delivering measurable business value.
The position is not limited to advisory or supervisory responsibilities. It requires direct technical involvement and ownership of solution quality, architectural decisions, and project delivery outcomes.

Duties & responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of AI and Generative AI solutions.
Develop applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), such as:
Intelligent copilots
Document Intelligence systems
Chatbots
Design Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics solutions.
Develop recommendation and personalization engines.
Translate business problems and requirements into implementable AI solution architectures.
Design data ingestion and data preparation pipelines.
Select appropriate models and evaluate their performance.
Plan application integrations and APIs.
Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and scalability requirements.
Develop and manage clients’ AI product roadmaps.
Prioritize AI use cases based on business needs and value.
Define and develop Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and continuously improve them.
Establish success metrics and monitor user adoption of AI solutions.
Make Build vs. Buy vs. Partner decisions when selecting models, platforms, and technologies.
Ensure solutions are designed for real-world production use rather than remaining limited to prototypes.
Eligibility criteria
Have 9 to 14+ years of experience in:
Data
Analytics
Artificial Intelligence
Demonstrated experience taking direct ownership of the implementation and delivery of technical projects.
Strong knowledge of Machine Learning fundamentals and applied AI.
Strong experience in Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) engineering.
Understanding of data engineering concepts required for AI workloads.
Proven experience delivering real, production-grade AI solutions, rather than only prototypes or Proofs of Concept.
Experience working in client-facing environments.
Ability to combine technical depth with delivery and business requirements.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
