The United Nations Children’s Fund – UNICEF is offering a consultancy opportunity in Tunisia to work on a specialized program in Communication for Social and Behaviour Change and Community Engagement (CCSC/EC), with the aim of supporting efforts to prevent and respond to violence against children.
The assignment aims to design and implement a Training of Trainers (ToT) program to strengthen the capacities of approximately 50 participants from national and regional entities, in addition to supporting the rollout of the training in seven targeted regions and contributing to the development of a sustainable training mechanism in the field of child protection.

Duties & responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for:
Designing the training curriculum, tools, and training materials.
Training and evaluating future trainers.
Supporting the implementation of the initial cascade training sessions across the seven targeted regions.
Providing training, guidance, and support to ensure the quality of program implementation.
Documenting lessons learned and outcomes.
Developing recommendations to ensure the long-term sustainability of the training system.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Hold a Master’s degree in one of the following fields or a related discipline:
Communication.
Social Sciences.
Humanities.
Education.
Social Psychology.
Community Development.
Have at least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in communication for social and behavioural change, community engagement, or social mobilization.
Experience in developing strategies, action plans, or interventions related to CCSC/EC.
Proven experience in designing and implementing Training of Trainers (ToT) programs.
Experience in training, mentoring, and providing follow-up support to participants after training.
Required Skills
The following qualifications and skills are preferred:
Good knowledge of child protection and violence prevention issues.
Knowledge of the Tunisian social and cultural context.
Experience in designing curricula, training manuals, and educational materials.
Knowledge of adult learning and training methodologies.
Experience in participatory facilitation, simulations, and practical training.
Ability to work with government institutions, civil society organizations, and community stakeholders.
Strong analytical, communication, writing, and summarization skills.
