<p>ANU (Australian National University) announced the <strong>Bassett Downs</strong> <strong><a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Scholarship</a></strong>. The Bassett Downs Endowment will provide funds for the Bassett Downs Scholarship for Glass to promote excellence in glass craft skills and will be awarded every second year. The Scholarship is to assist students who have gained entry into the Honours Year of an <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Bachelor" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>undergraduate</strong></a> program offered by the School of Art Glass Workshop in the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences.&nbsp;</p><h3><strong>Field of Study:</strong></h3><p>Glass craft skills.</p><h3><strong>Scholarship Value:&nbsp;</strong></h3><p>The Scholarship is valued at $7000. &nbsp;The scholar will receive $3000 per semester plus an additional one-off payment of $1000 to be used for the purchase of relevant materials.</p><h3><strong>Eligibility:</strong></h3><p>To be considered for this scholarship, a student must:</p><ul><li>have an exceptionally high level of competence in glass craft material and technical skills.</li><li>be eligible to enroll in the honors Year of an undergraduate program offered by the School of Art.</li></ul><h3><strong>Selection Criteria:</strong></h3><p>When making recommendations for this scholarship, the Head of School (or nominees) shall take into account:</p><ul><li>the applicant&#39;s academic record.</li><li>the applicants high level of competence in glass craft material and technical skills as demonstrated through images of their work.</li></ul><p dir="ltr"><strong>See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/Australia">opportunities in Australia</a> on For9a</strong></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Master">Master&rsquo;s scholarships</a> on For9a</strong></p>
