University of Sydney Scholarship for International Students to Pursue Bachelor’s and Master’s Studies with Funding of Up to AUD 60,000

The University of Sydney in Australia offers the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships Scheme (VCIS) for academically outstanding international students who wish to begin an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at the University in 2027.

The scholarship is valued at up to AUD 60,000, and recipients are selected based on academic excellence as demonstrated in their university admission application. No separate scholarship application is required. Eligible international students who receive an unconditional offer of admission before the deadline for the relevant scholarship round are automatically considered.

The University offers five funding categories:

• AUD 60,000 for one year, paid in two equal installments across two academic semesters.
• AUD 40,000 for one year, paid in two installments.
• AUD 20,000 for one academic semester.
• AUD 10,000 for one academic semester.
• AUD 5,000 for one academic semester.

Applicants must:

• Be an international student.
• Have applied for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at the University of Sydney.
• Apply to a program that is registered on CRICOS and is normally delivered on campus in Australia.
• Not have commenced the program yet.
• Receive an Unconditional Offer before the deadline for the relevant scholarship round.
• Have a strong academic record, as selection is primarily based on academic merit.
