Erasmus Mundus is offering two-year master's scholarships in Image Processing and Computer Vision (IPCV). Processing images and videos is essential in domains such as medicine, surveillance, industrial control, remote sensing, e-commerce, automation, etc. The IPCV program offers extensive theoretical and practical knowledge to train highly-qualified graduates in this field.
Scholarship Terms:
Candidates can apply for an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees scholarship to the Erasmus + Key Action1 program (EMJMD) of their choice but:
- Students who have already obtained an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMD) scholarship or are former Erasmus Mundus Master/Doctoral Course scholarship holders are not eligible for an additional scholarship under the EMJMD
- EMJMD student’s scholarships are awarded exclusively for a full-time enrolment in one of the course editions.
- Nationality rule: no more than three of the students selected for an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees scholarship should have the same nationality.
- Scholarship holders spending part of the EMJMD course in their country of residence are not entitled to benefit from the monthly subsistence allowance for this period.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering science, mathematics, computer science, or signal processing, before the program starts.
- The average grade of at least “Good” according to local criteria in the previous study program.
- Must have adequate knowledge of written and spoken English.
Scholarship Value:
- Monthly allowance: 1,000€/month
- Contribution to travel: 2,000€/year scholarship holder resident in a Partner Country whose location is situated at less than 4,000 km from Bordeaux, France OR 3,000€/year scholarship holder resident in a Partner Country whose location is situated at more than 4,000 km from Bordeaux, France (distance calculator)
- Contribution to installation: 1,000€/2-years
- In addition, the Scholarship includes a contribution to the EMJMD participation costs, i.e. 4,500€/semester corresponding to the mandatory contribution to the IPCV tuition fees and insurance coverage.

- Bachelor's degree in English and in original language: Academic degree or professional diploma.
- Academic transcripts in English and in original language: Should include all grades obtained during the 3-4 years of Bachelor and information about the grading scale
- Motivation letter for the IPCV program: No more than 1000 words
- 2 Recommendation letters: No more than two pages per reference letter, written in English, presented on institutional headed paper, bearing the referees’ signature and an institutional stamp/seal.
- English certificate or official university statement.
- 1 photograph: Passport type
- Copy of passport.
- Work certificate(s) (if any) Proof of work experience(s)
