Opportunity description
ITU opened applications for the innovation challenges to create a digital world. ITU encourages you to follow all the required steps to maximize your chances of winnings:
- Stage 1 (steps 1-2): Submit your idea, get 15 votes from other members of the community in order to move to stage 2 and contribute by commenting and liking other ideas.
- Stage 2 (steps 3-4): Submit your final proposal after taking into consideration the feedback from stage 1 by filling out and submitting the supporting documents from your respective challenge. The winner will be announced based on their final submissions and contributions to the community.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Participants of all ages are welcome to take part in the challenges. However, participation in the Young ICT Leaders' Forum event in Busan is reserved for winners aged 18 to 35 at the time of application.
- Winners will only be selected for one global event.
- Team participation is allowed, but only one team member can be sponsored to participate in the event, and the resumes of the other team members must be attached during the submission process.
- There are limited seats available for every challenge and the number of winners and final recognition depends on our sponsors' and partners’ requirements.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Originality: The concept of your proposal must be original to fit your context.
- Creativity: Your idea must be innovative and unique.
- Sustainability: The ways and methods to sustain your key activities must be clearly described.
- Viability: Your proposed solutions must be realistic and logical. Bonus points may be awarded if you can categorize your solutions into the short, medium and long term.
- Impact: Your idea/proposal must be within the context of the challenge. You must consider cross-cutting impacts, problems, and relevant solutions.
- Co-creation: Special attention will be given to candidates who are actively helping other participants advance their ideas.
