Postgraduate Scholarship from Loughborough University in the UK

Exclusive to postgraduate students choosing to study at London campus-UK, the Dean’s Award for Enterprise Scholarship will cover 90% of the course fees for your chosen postgraduate taught program for one year (replacing any other Loughborough University scholarships or bursaries you may already have been awarded).The award will be given at the discretion of the Dean, with the support of the Senior Leadership Team.

Eligibility

The panel is looking for candidates with an enterprising mind and innovative ideas, and welcomes applications from individuals who are committed to contributing to society. You should demonstrate a full understanding of the costs involved in postgraduate study and outline why you have a strong motivation to study your program. You should also demonstrate that you have the initiative to be able to secure funds in order to cover the remaining tuition fee and other associated costs.

Requirements for Application

• Applicants are asked to produce a one-page submission of their business idea; though students are encouraged to include images and media content to support their application.
• To be considered, applications will need to be in possession of an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on a postgraduate taught program, and all sections of the form will need to be completed.

Notes

• Please note that winners of the award are under no obligation to start a new business, though winners who are serious about launching their own business will receive professional support and advice to turn their idea into a reality.
• To be considered complete, all sections of this form must be filled in with supporting documentary evidence where necessary.
• Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a short video interview to discuss their business idea in more detail.
