Opportunity description

The .ART platform has opened applications for the inaugural .ART Award 2026, a global art prize celebrating creative works as well as the stories and processes behind their creation.

The competition does not focus solely on the final form of the artwork. It also considers how the idea developed, the sources of inspiration, the personal or cultural context of the work, and the tools and materials used by the artist.

Applicants participate through a web domain ending in .ART, which may be connected to the artist’s website, portfolio, profile on an art platform, or social media page. The submitted link must provide a clear archive documenting the artist’s identity, body of work, and creative process.

The competition is open to individual artists and art collectives from all countries, including applicants from Arab countries. It welcomes a wide range of art forms, including visual and digital art, poetry, music, and performance art.
