Fully Funded Scholarships in Art and Scientific Disciplines from Amsterdam University in Netherlands

Amsterdam University in the Netherlands invites new students to scholarship opportunities for the academic year 2022- 2023. These will be awarded on the basis of both merit and financial need which in principle, are not awarded for more than three years/six semesters in total. You have the chance to choose from various majors.

If you get this scholarship, you will have one of the following:

• EU/EEA students: EUR 5550 per year.
• Non-EU/EEA students: EUR 16550 per year.

Please note:

• ASF Scholarships are paid directly to you in 10 monthly installments. 
• You are responsible for paying your tuition fees yourself.

You must meet the following requirements:

1. You must have applied for a place at AUC, which is a separate process. 
2. Only AUC students can receive an ASF scholarship.
3. Your family income has to be below the threshold. 
4. ASF Scholarships are awarded based on merit and financial need. 
5. The ASF Scholarship cannot be transferred to another academic year or another academic program.
6. You must have satisfied all visa and residence permit requirements, if applicable.
7. You must have proven both merit and financial need.
8. You will be evaluated after one year of study at AUC, and your ASF Scholarship will be awarded for another year if you:

• have successfully passed the first year (a GPA of at least 3.0). 
• receive a positive recommendation from your AUC tutor and the Board of Examiners.
• can prove that the financial need base has not changed.

You will be selected based on the following criteria:

• Excellent school results that consider your academic merit.
• Strong motivation to study liberal arts and sciences at AUC.
• Your extracurricular accomplishments and activities relevant for AUC. 
• Your (potential) leadership profile and skills. 
• Financial need.

Please note: You will be notified in late April/early May 2022 if you have been awarded an ASF scholarship.
