Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) in Malaysia offers the Postgraduate Scholarships & Merit Awards 2026 for students who wish to pursue a master’s degree at the university. The scholarship provides tuition fee discounts of up to 30%, based on academic excellence and the applicant’s undergraduate CGPA.
This scholarship is among the scholarships in Malaysia for international students in 2026, as APU confirms that postgraduate scholarship applications are open to applicants from all countries. Therefore, eligible students from Arab countries may also apply. Scholarships are limited in number and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
APU offers a wide range of master’s programs, including Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Science and Business Analytics, Software Engineering, Digital Transformation, MBA, Digital Marketing, Project Management, Accounting, Finance, Financial Technology, Education, Design, and other fields.
Benefits
The scholarship amount varies according to the applicant’s undergraduate CGPA:
- 30% tuition fee discount for applicants with a CGPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 or above.
- 20% tuition fee discount for applicants with a CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 or above.
- 10% tuition fee discount for applicants with a CGPA of 3.2 out of 4.0 or above.
For students whose universities use a grading system other than the 4.0 scale, APU will determine the equivalent CGPA and make the final decision regarding the scholarship amount.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants may apply if they:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree.
- Wish to pursue one of the master’s programs offered by APU.
- Meet the academic admission requirements for their chosen program.
- Have final and official academic results.
- Meet the required CGPA for the applicable scholarship discount level.
- Submit all required documents.
- Undertake their studies at APU in Malaysia, as the scholarship does not apply to programs delivered through partner universities outside Malaysia.
Required Documents
Applicants are required to submit:
- Bachelor’s degree certificate.
- Bachelor’s academic transcript.
- Details of the grading system used by the previous university.
- Copy of the passport bio-data page.
- CV.
- Employment reference letters, if available.
- Any other documents that support the applicant’s academic qualifications.
