Opportunity description

The CYBERSURE – Master’s Programme in Cybersecurity and Assurance is accepting applications for its 2027 intake for a joint master’s degree under the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master framework, specializing in cybersecurity and the assurance of secure digital systems.

The program offers a two-year international study experience. All students complete the first year at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Norway, then move in the second year to one of the European partner universities in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, France, or Austria, depending on the specialization track they are assigned.

This opportunity is considered one of the leading funded Erasmus Mundus scholarships in Europe for students interested in cybersecurity. Both full and partial scholarships are available for academically outstanding applicants, and students of all nationalities, including applicants from all Arab countries, may apply and compete for funding.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or higher education institution.
  • Have a degree equivalent to at least 180 ECTS credits or three years of full-time study.
  • Hold a bachelor’s qualification that gives access to master’s-level study in the country where the degree was awarded.
  • Have a relevant academic background in a field related to the program.
  • Have a strong academic record.
  • Meet the required English language proficiency level.
  • Submit a complete application and all required documents within the specified deadlines.

Required Documents

The main required documents include:

  • Bachelor’s degree certificate.
  • Academic transcript.
  • Official English translations if the documents are issued in another language.
  • A Motivation Letter of no more than 500 words.
  • A Motivation Video of no more than one minute.
  • A CV.
  • A copy of the applicant’s passport or official identity document.
  • Proof of current residence.
  • Proof of English language proficiency.
  • Descriptions of relevant academic courses.
