The Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Journalism, Media and Globalisation – Mundus Journalism is accepting applications for its 2027–2029 intake. It is an internationally funded master’s program designed for students and professionals interested in journalism, media, communication, and globalisation.
The program lasts two years, during which students study in more than one European country. The first year takes place at Aarhus University in Denmark, after which students choose a specialization track for the second year at one of the partner universities in Amsterdam, London, Munich, or Prague.
This opportunity is considered one of the leading fully funded Erasmus Mundus scholarships for Arab and international students. Top applicants may receive a full tuition fee waiver, in addition to a monthly stipend of up to EUR 1,400 for a maximum of 24 months, as well as health insurance and liability insurance.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification completed after at least three years of full-time study.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Degrees in the humanities, arts, and social sciences are generally considered relevant, although applicants from other academic backgrounds may also be accepted if the selection committee determines that their studies are sufficiently related.
- Have an above-average academic record.
- Final-year bachelor’s students may apply, provided they complete their degree before the program begins.
- Have journalism experience equivalent to at least three months of full-time work.
- Demonstrate a high level of English proficiency equivalent to CEFR C1 or above, unless they qualify for one of the officially recognized exemptions.
