Film Free Way invites filmmakers from all over the world to participate in the LIFE AFTER OIL Festival to be held in Italy in September 2022. The purpose of the festival is to promote films on the experiences and projects for alternatives to oil and fossil fuels.

Eligibility criteria
- Maximum length for short-film: 30 minutes including credits
- All works will be accepted in all languages with subtitles in English or Italian.
- No registration fee is required for all sections of the competition.
- Competitions include environmental theme films produced from 1st January 2020.
- Works accepted realized within cinema workshops organized by the public and also produced films such as dissertations. Films entered in past editions will be automatically excluded.
- The list of selected films will be published on www.lifeafteroil.org and authors selected will be notified by email by April 25th, 2022.
- Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of these rules in their entirety.
- Registration for the Festival involves the automatic authorization to use free extracts of the work for a maximum of 60 seconds for the broadcast television and promotional purposes of the festival.
