The Africa Research Excellence Fund (AREF) Fellowship 2026/2027 is a fully funded opportunity offering up to £47,000 to support researchers in Africa in the field of health. The AREF program aims to develop research skills, provide international training, and build the capacity of early-career researchers. This fellowship is a golden opportunity for African researchers active in clinical and scientific research, enabling them to participate in a 3- to 9-month fellowship at leading research institutions in the UK, Europe, or Africa, providing a rich and extended experience in research and development.
