Opportunity description

ChangemakerXchange, with support from the Drosos Foundation, is accepting applications for the second cohort of the Changemakers for Youth 2027 program, designed for social entrepreneurs and youth initiative leaders from eight countries, including Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, and Tunisia.

The program aims to support young people who are already leading social or environmental projects and initiatives that address economic, educational, and community challenges, with a particular focus on youth empowerment, leadership development, and creating positive social impact.

The program combines online training and capacity building with participation in a five-day in-person summit in Morocco in March 2027. Participants will also have opportunities to collaborate with social entrepreneurs from different countries and may be eligible to receive seed funding for joint projects.

Benefits

  • Coverage of accommodation costs throughout the five-day in-person summit.
  • Meals and food provided during the official summit days.
  • Coverage of local transportation during the summit.
  • Coverage of costs related to activities, workshops, and training materials.
  • Possibility of receiving full or partial travel support for flights, trains, or buses, depending on individual circumstances and available funding.
  • Possible support for visa costs, mandatory travel insurance, and necessary accommodation during flight layovers, subject to the available funding conditions.
  • Participation in an international summit bringing together social entrepreneurs and youth initiative leaders.
  • Access to online training focused on developing leadership and management skills and strengthening the impact of participants’ initiatives.
  • Participation in experience-sharing and peer-learning sessions with other participants and experts.
