Opportunity description

Devpost is announcing the launch of the 6-week Smart Contract Hackathon for programmers all over the world. Whether your personal end goal is to learn something cutting edge, win one of the insane cash prizes, or put smart contract development in your resume, this hackathon is where you start. Devpost will introduce you to the next-gen language and platform called Daml used by the likes of the Australian Securities Exchange, Hong Kong Clearing and Exchanges, and Nasdaq, just to name a few.

About the Hackathon:-

  • Technology is currently at the dawn of what smart contracts can do. There are industries, such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, etc., that are already using smart contracts. Within and outside those industries, there is a wide breadth of areas that could be disrupted by the application of smart contracts. This hackathon is about exploring uncharted areas in this new age of smart contracts.
  • Developing a full production-quality solution or platform will need time, so the right first step is to identify and learn to use the right scalable and versatile tool to create a compelling functional prototype that shows off the potential of smart contracts in tackling a well-defined problem.
