IEEE ICNP 2026 Travel Grant in the United States for Students and Researchers

The IEEE International Conference on Network Protocols (IEEE ICNP) 2026 is accepting applications for travel grants designed to support students and early-career researchers from the United States and other countries who wish to attend the conference in person.

The grant aims to assist researchers who do not have sufficient funding to cover the costs of attending the conference by providing partial financial support for expenses related to registration, travel, accommodation, and meals.

The 34th edition of the conference will take place in Tempe, Arizona, United States, from 5–8 October 2026. The conference focuses on a broad range of research areas related to network protocols, including their design, analysis, specification, verification, implementation, and performance evaluation.

• The possibility of using the grant toward conference registration fees.
• A contribution toward airfare and local transportation expenses.
• A contribution toward accommodation costs.
• Support for meals and daily expenses associated with conference participation.
• The opportunity to attend an international conference specializing in computer networks and network protocols.
• Networking opportunities with researchers, academics, and professionals in the field of computer networking.
• The opportunity to present accepted research papers or scientific posters at the main conference or its associated workshops.

Applicants must:

1. Be a student or an early-career researcher.
2. Demonstrate a strong interest in computer networking.
3. Have completed relevant coursework or participated in projects related to networks and communication protocols.
4. Commit to attending IEEE ICNP 2026 in person in the United States.
5. Possess the travel documents and visa required to enter the United States and return to their educational institution.
6. Submit all required documents in full.

Priority will be given to:

1. Students and applicants attending the conference for the first time.
2. Authors or co-authors of papers accepted for presentation at the conference.
3. Authors of accepted posters or workshop papers.
4. Applicants who do not have access to alternative sources of funding.
