Opportunity description

The International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID) has announced the opening of applications for the KAICIID Fellows Programme 2027. This is an international capacity-building and professional development program in the field of interreligious and intercultural dialogue, social cohesion, and peacebuilding.

The program brings together religious leaders, educators, academics, dialogue practitioners, and peacebuilders from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds around the world. It aims to develop their skills in dialogue facilitation, intercultural communication, managing differences, and building community initiatives that promote mutual understanding.

The program runs for one full year and combines intensive in-person training sessions in different locations, online classes, and live virtual discussion sessions. Fellows also receive small grants to implement dialogue-related projects within their institutions or communities during the training year.

This fellowship is suitable for professionals and leaders working in the fields of religious leadership, education, interreligious dialogue, peacebuilding, international development, reconciliation, social cohesion, or public policy related to religious communities.

Eligibility criteria

  • Go to the KAICIID Fellows Programme page and carefully read the program requirements.
  • Access the official application portal for the KAICIID Fellowship.
  • Complete the online application form with your personal and professional information.
  • Explain your experience in interreligious or intercultural dialogue, education, peacebuilding, or working with religious communities.
  • Prepare an official letter of support from the institution or organization represented by the applicant. The letter must be on official letterhead, signed, and submitted in PDF format.
  • Attach the required documents and submit the application before the deadline.
  • Wait for the selection results, as applicants will be informed of the decisions in early November 2026.
