Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Be currently enrolled as a PhD student at a recognized university.
Have completed the first year of doctoral studies before applying. Exceptional cases involving applicants with substantial prior research experience may be considered.
Be studying computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a related field.
Be actively engaged in scientific research as part of their PhD dissertation.
Remain enrolled as a full-time student throughout the nine-month fellowship period.
Not plan to graduate before the end of the academic year covered by the fellowship.
Be willing to participate in a mandatory in-person summer internship at one of NVIDIA's eligible research offices during summer 2027.
Submit a research proposal demonstrating the significance of the project and its relevance to NVIDIA technologies.
Provide two to three letters of recommendation, including one from the applicant's PhD advisor.
Be enrolled at a university capable of administering the funding provided by NVIDIA.
Note: The program requires participation in an in-person summer internship at one of NVIDIA's designated research offices. The internship location will be determined according to the company's arrangements.
