The Compost Research & Education Foundation (CREF) has opened submissions for the International Compost Awareness Week Poster Contest 2027, an international competition to design the official poster for International Compost Awareness Week 2027.
The competition is open to artists, designers, and creatives from around the world who are 14 years old or older. It offers participants the opportunity to submit an original design that reflects the importance of sustainability, composting, innovation, and the circular economy.

All Paths Lead to Compost!
The theme is connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 9, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, highlighting the role of innovation and sustainable infrastructure in improving organic waste management and turning it into valuable resources for the environment and soil.
One design will be selected as the official poster for the International Compost Awareness Week 2027 campaign, and the winner will receive a USD 500 cash prize.
