Opportunity description

The Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company offers five scholarships to students who have completed the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) from the region, enabling them to pursue a bachelor’s degree at one of the public universities in Jordan.

Eligibility criteria

  • The applicant must be a Jordanian citizen and resident of Al-Hashimiya / Zarqa.
  • The applicant must be a student at a school under the Directorate of Education in Al-Hashimiya – Zarqa, in Grade 11 or 12.
  • The applicant must have passed the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) in the same year of applying for the scholarship.
  • The Tawjihi average must not be lower than the minimum admission average approved by public universities, and the applicant must have been admitted to a Jordanian public university through the regular competitive admission process.
  • The applicant must not be a beneficiary of the Royal Grant and must not be sponsored or awarded any scholarship from any other entity.
  • None of the applicant’s siblings must have previously received a scholarship from the company.
