Having good knife skills will make food preparation easy and will reduce cooking time significantly. Plus, as you become proficient in preparing your own food, you&#39;ll enjoy cooking and become more confident in the kitchen. People with good knife skills are also more likely to try new dishes and experiment in the kitchen. <div><div class="qualifications"><div><div class="qualifications"><div><div class="qualifications"><div><div class="qualifications"><div><div class="qualifications"><div><div class="qualifications"><div><div class="qualifications"><div><ul><li>You will not be able to bring spectators with you as all attendees must pay to participate in the class.</li><li>You&#39;ll be able to purchase a good selection of equipment that you use in academy classes, as well as a variety of spices.</li><li>The Academy makes every effort to accommodate special dietary requirements, but must be notified of your dietary requirements within 24 hours of booking. You can contact the Academy by emailing: cook@thecookingacademy.co.uk or calling 01923 778880 if you would like to find out if your special requirements can be accommodated on a course at least 28 days before term.</li><li>All courses are suitable for all levels as the Chef will make sure you get the help needed to enjoy your day and develop your cooking skills, but if you are an experienced cook, the advanced classes may be better suited to you.</li><li>You&#39;ll be able to prepare your food to suit your own taste, whether it&#39;s spicy or otherwise.</li><li>The Academy can easily modify and customize Indian, Thai and food cooking classes to suit a gluten-free diet, but please let the Academy know at the time of booking.</li><li>Your course reservation can be exchanged for any other course, and you can easily pay the difference if there is a difference in the price of the reservation, or get purchases on the day of the course if you have a portion of the exchange price remaining. You can also purchase an open voucher and exchange it for any category of equal value.</li><li>You will need to bring some plastic containers (quantity will be specified in your email confirmation) with you to take home some of the delicious recipes you will be cooking on the day.</li><li>Lunch will be provided (and you will cook it!). If you have any special dietary requirements, please inform the Academy when booking.</li><li>Ample parking will be available on site for free.</li><li>Anyone over the age of 13 can attend the academy&#39;s cooking classes.</li><li>This beginner&#39;s cooking class will suit you if you want to start from the beginning, and develop an understanding of food hygiene, knife skills and safety in the kitchen.</li><li>Please wear comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes (no flip-flops or open-toed shoes).
