Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is accepting applications for its 2027 Master’s programs from international students interested in specializing in artificial intelligence, computer science, and data-related fields.

The University offers a range of specialized Master of Science (M.Sc.) programs and provides admitted students with opportunities to compete for merit-based funding, in addition to potential faculty-funded research or teaching assistantships.

It is important to note that funding for Master’s students is not guaranteed for all admitted applicants. Students who do not secure a source of funding are classified as tuition-paying students.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants to the Master’s programs must:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another related scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Hold a degree from a recognized university.
  • Have a minimum GPA of approximately 3.0 or 3.5 out of 4.0, depending on the selected program.
  • Meet the English language proficiency requirements.
  • Submit all required documents.
  • Pass the required Screening Exam as part of the admissions process.
  • Some applicants may also be invited to a technical interview with the admissions committee.
